About Me

Hi I'm Melissa, I am a mom to three kids and a golden retriever dog. I grew up in Tucson, Arizona and moved to Utah in 2002. I graduated from the University of Utah in Accounting and currenly work in the accounting field. I have been sewing since I was a kid and have been teaching in my home for since 2015. I absolutely love teaching kids to sew. I am a registered instructor with Kids Can Sew, and former PDF Pattern Designer for CKC Patterns. The meaning of my name Melissa is honey bee which is the reason I choose the name Honey Bee Sewing School.  

Honey Bee Sewing School is licensed with  Layton City and Utah State.
