Summer Class Policies

Kids Summer Sewing, ages 7-17, Each student will pick an individual project bases on their own interests and skill. I will contact you before the sewing class to discuss projects. Most projects will take 4-6 classes. Fabric/ Notions/Patterns are not included in price. See Frequently Asked Questions below.

Refunds/Cancellations: PLEASE look at your schedules carefully before registering! We WILL NOT be able to make up classes for kids who are sick, forget to come, decide to schedule a vacation, have a schedule change etc. We recognize there are SOME rare circumstances that merit a make-up time, like death in family or emergencies . We can consider these case by case.

Payment: Payment is due in full at time of booking. No refunds.

Registration form & Class times

Sign up for as many classes as desired. Each class is 1.5 hours $30 each. Sign up for 4+ classes cost will reduce to $28 each class.

Most students will need to sign up for 3-5 classes to complete a project. Some students may prefer to sign up for 2 classes in one day. There is a maximum of 4 students per class.

Is sewing experience needed?

No, all levels can attend sewing camp.

What will my child learn?

Students will learn the basics of sewing including safety, threading sewing machine, basic stitches, pinning, ironing, seam allowance and basic pattern reading.

What will my child make?

Since every student has different interests, levels and abilities, I prefer my students to have input in what they would like to make. I can give pattern suggestions based on your child desired project. Students and parents will meet with me before the camp and we discuss goals and the student can pick what project they would like to sew. If desired, Kids Can Sew® Packets/Patterns can be purchased for an additional cost.

How do I sign up?

Fill out registration form, email me with choice of dates. Once dates are confirmed, payment must be made to reserve spot. If you want to be put on waitlist send an email to honeybeesewingschool@gmail.com

How do I pay?

Payment can be made on PayPal, Vemno @honeybeesewingschool, Cash or Check is also accepted.

What supplies do you provide?

I provide the sewing machines, pins, scissors, bobbins, thread, elastic and rulers. Students need to bring fabric for their project and other notions if needed.
