About Summer Camps

Honey Bee Sewing School has been approved by the Davis County Health Department to hold classes. Each class/camp will be limited to 4 students.  I will teach with a mask on. Students are spaced 6 feet apart, equipment will be sanitized after every class.



Summer Camp Policies

Summer Sewing Camps, ages 7-17, are 3 days, 3 hours each day offered during the summer months June-July. Each student will pick an individual project bases on their own interests and skill.  I will contact you before the sewing camp to discuss projects before sewing camp. Fabric/ Notions/Patterns are not included in camp price. See Frequently Asked Questions below.


NO SICK STUDENTS. If the student has any signs of fever, cough, or any sickness please do not send your child.  If your family is sick or needs to be quarantined please do not come to class. If I notice any sick symptoms a parent will be asked to pick up child.


Refunds/Cancellations: If your child or family becomes sick, you will be offered attend a make up class. Refunds/Makeups will only be considered if family/student is sick.  If myself or family become sick a full refund will be given.


Payment: Camp and Weekly Sewing payment is due in full at time of booking.

Sewing Camp Session 2: June 15-17, 9 am- 12 pm - FULL

Frequently Asked Questions

Is sewing experience needed?

 No, all levels can attend sewing camp.  

What will my child learn?

 Students will learn the basics of sewing including safety, threading sewing machine, basic stitches, pinning, ironing, seam allowance and basic pattern reading. 

What will my child make?

Since every student has different interests, levels and abilities, I prefer my students to have input in what they would like to make. I can give pattern suggestions based on your child desired project. Students and parents will meet with me before the camp and we discuss goals and the student can pick what project they would like to sew.  If desired, Kids Can Sew® Packets/Patterns can be purchased for an additional cost.

How do I pay?

Payment can be made on PayPal, Vemno @honeybeesewingschool, Cash or Check is also accepted. 

What supplies do you provide?

 I provide the sewing machines, pins, scissors, bobbins, thread, elastic ruler. Students need to bring fabric for their project and other notions if needed.
